Kealey is a registered Clinical Psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society and Clinical College. She has fourteen years experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of adults. She has worked for organisations such as NSW Health, the Department of Justice and St Vincent’s Hospital, as well as in private practice. Kealey has also held positions in psychotherapy research and university teaching.
Kealey has specialist clinical experience in anxiety, depression and trauma, including obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalised anxiety and panic disorder. She is also skilled in helping clients with a range of personal difficulties such as emotion regulation, low self -esteem and confidence, relationship issues, and weight management.
Using the latest evidence-based approaches she aims to assist individuals realise their potential, gain greater life satisfaction and achieve personal goals. Kealey’s preferred therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
Kealey is able to use clinical hypnosis for a range of fears and habit-forming behaviours . She also practices hypnosis to improve sleep, promote relaxation and enhance performance.
